A “rock concert” featuring paint brushes as instruments was enjoyed at a free community and family friendly event at the Botanical Gardens yesterday.
Hine-Rotu Taylor set up a free rock-painting event for children and families through Facebook community page Gizzy Rocks.
Whānau turned up over two hours to give it
a go, with rock-painting equipment provided.
“There were about 50 to 60 people in all,” Hine said.
“People could paint whatever they wanted to on the rocks.
