POLICE have arrested five more people in the past 24 hours for breaches of the movement regulations during the Covid-19 lockdown period.
Police said all of them had previously been warned about being out and about for non-essential reasons.
“The five men, generally in their 20s, have been charged under
the Health Act,” police said this morning.
Police pulled over about 100 vehicles yesterday in their ongoing lockdown enforcement work.
“Overall we're still pretty happy but we are seeing a transition phase now with the change to Level 3 coming next week,” the spokesman said.
