BEEF and Lamb New Zealand have planned a ‘Farm Plan' workshop to be staged at Otoko next week, subject to what happens with the Alert Level 4 lockdown.
B+LNZ have partnered with Gisborne District Council to raise awareness and understanding of Farm Plans.
“This workshop will be primarily based on
the new B+LNZ ‘The Farm Plan — Environment Module' with an additional focus on land use capability (LUC) classification,” said B+LNZ lead extension manager Mark Harris.
The workhop will be held next Thursday, August 26 at this stage. It will run from 12 midday to 5.30pm. Lunch will be provided. The venue is at Otokorau, 5066 Matawai Road.
“This first workshop is a practical look at the ‘how' behind farm plans. You won't be completing your farm plan at the workshop,” Mr Harris said.
