Motorists using State Highway 2 will have to take a 15-minute detour at Te Karaka from November 16.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is advising of upcoming resurfacing works happening on State Highway 2 in Te Karaka starting on Monday, November 16.
The work is expected to be completed by
Monday, November 30, depending on the weather.
“During this time, there will be a full, 24-hour closure of State Highway 2 between Cliff Road and Main Road,” an NZTA statement says.
“A detour route will be in place, via Cliff Road and Main Road. Delays of up to 10 to 15 minutes are possible during peak hours, but the detour should minimise this.
