Element IMF Cadets and Platinum Pacific Reclad Mount Maunganui both continued their unbeaten run in Bay of Plenty Cup one-day action on Saturday.
Ben Christensen's brilliant form since the holiday break continued, leading Cadets' batting attack at the Tauranga Domain. Opening the innings, Christensen went on the offensive against Eastern Pirates
to hit 85 as his side tallied 230-7.
A quickfire knock of 46 not out from 33 balls from Richard Rice kept Cadets' momentum going in the last 10 overs. Josh Lee was the best of the Eastern Pirates bowlers returning 3/34.
The second half of the encounter belonged to veteran bowler Campbell Wilson, who ripped through the Rotorua one-day champion's batsmen to grab a masterly 7-41.
The visitors were in desperate trouble at 42/7, before finally being removed for just 71 in the 19th over.

In a match that went on to the early evening because of a delayed start, Tauranga Boys College batted first to reach 213 - Josh Dwight top scoring with 65, with Matt McLaughlin and Ben Watkinson taking three wickets apiece. The home side made a valiant attempt after being in trouble at 102/6. McLaughlin kept his side in it with a gritty 52 but Tauranga Boys' had the final say with a 43-run win.
For the second weekend in a row East Bay United suffered a one run loss, this time to Eves Realty Greerton, who posted 156-5 in another match shortened to 35 overs apiece. Alex Yates got the Eastern Bay reply away to a good start with a sparkling 60, but Greerton's bowlers kept it tight, with the match ending with East Bay United stranded on 155/9.
Ultimate Motor Group Te Puke hardly raised a sweat at Te Puke Domain, having Rotorua Boys High all out for just 49.
Andy MacKay took 5/31 as his side won by eight wickets.
