What: Tauranga Moana Seafood Festival.
Where: Dive Cres.
When: Saturday.
Time: 12-8pm
Cost: $15 for adults, $7.50 for children, or a family pass for $40.

Adventure Park.
When: Saturday.
Time: 1pm onward.
Cost: $20 per person.
Enjoy a chance to celebrate with Tauranga's Tim Taylor as he departs on the first solo sea kayak voyage around New Zealand. Waimarino Adventure Park is hosting a "Blob Party", which the public are invited to attend. Read more...

What: Who Wants to Be 100?
Where: 16th Avenue Repertory Theatre.
Time: 8-10pm.
A hilarious comedy directed by Julie Lankshear. Come enjoy the laughs and their view on the problem of growing older. Last performance December 11.
What: Class of'99.
Where: Westside Theatre.
Time: 8-10pm.
Class of'99 is a trip down memory lane to relive everything 90s. Get your tickets now for a night of feel good entertainment. Thursday to Saturday at 141 Seventeenth Avenue.
FRIDAY:
What: Evening trip to Otawa Stream.
Where: Meet at the Boucher Ave car park.
Time: 7.30pm onward.
The Te Puke branch of the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society are hosting an trip to look for bats at dusk and see the abundant life of a stream. Wet feet are likely, so bring gumboots and warm clothing.
What: Live Music Friday.
Where: Marble Bar.
Time: 7pm onward.
Free entertainment, hear "Kaleidoscope" covers band play a variety of tunes.
What: Soul Talk.
Where: Tauranga Art Gallery.
Time: 7.30pm onward.
Listen to New Zealand soul diva Whirimako Black and guests perform. Black is well-known for her jazz and blues interpretations. Tickets $25 from the gallery. Phone 578 7933.
SATURDAY:
What: Harbour City Lions Book sale.
Where: Bethlehem Town Centre.
Time: 9am-4pm.
Thousands of books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, games and magazines. All proceeds go to local charities.
What: Industrial Park Open House and Charity Car Show.
Where: Brook St, Tauranga.
Time: 9am-1pm.
Check out the region's hottest hot rods, classics, street machines and race cars at the second annual Open House and Charity Car Show. Held at Brook St, next to Countdown, Fraser Cove. Refreshments and entertainment available.
What: The Lower Kaimai Country Garden Ramble.
Where: Various.
Time: 10am-5pm.
Check out 20 top gardens, on Belk, Omanawa, Ruahihi and McLaren Falls Rds. All proceeds will go to Omanawa Hall and Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre, Oropi Rd. Tickets and maps are available from garden centres and Omanawa Hall during the weekend.
What: Christmas Pottery Sale.
Where: Bethlehem Potters Rooms, 13 Bethlehem Rd.
Time: 10am-4pm.
Grab yourself a bargain at the pottery Christmas sale.
What: Super Saloon Series Round 1.
Where: Baypark Speedway.
Time: Gates open 5pm. Racing starts 7pm.
The glamour class of speedway - the hard charging V8 Super Saloons race in the first of three rounds. A great opportunity to see the stars of New Zealand Speedway along with all the regular Baypark classes, including stock cars, saloons, sprint cars and ministocks. Go to www.bayparkspeedway.co.nz
SUNDAY:
What: It's Rhys Darby Night.
Where: Baycourt Centennial Theatre.
Time: 8-10pm.
Darby brings his world-wide show to Tauranga following sold-out shows throughout the world. An unforgettable R16 show from a world famous comedian.
What: 2010 TrustPower Christmas Festival and Santa Parade.
Where: Downtown Mount Maunganui.
Time: 11am-2pm.
Come enjoy family fun and activities with lots of free entertainment, including the float parade, street performances, dance groups and live music. Bouncy castle for kids to enjoy and the Farmers Market throughout the day.
What: Advent Procession.
Where: St Peter's Anglican Church, Victoria Rd.
Time: 8pm onward.
Share a special evening with the choir of the Scholars Pro Musica. The purpose of the service is not to celebrate Christmas but to expect it.
