Te Puke East Rd truck crash closes road as recovery operation begins

Traffic management has been called after a truck tipped onto its side on Te Puke East Rd this afternoon.

The crash happened between Brenner Rd and Wharere Rd, police said.

While the truck itself is not blocking the roadway, police said the road will need to be closed to allow for the vehicle’s recovery.

“Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area.”
