A two-car crash is causing traffic delays in Bethlehem.

A police media spokeswoman said they were notified of the crash, on Wairoa Pa Rd, about 12.35pm.

While both cars are badly damaged, nobody involved required medical attention, she said.

The road is partially blocked and police are on the scene managing traffic until it is cleared. Tow trucks are on their way.
