Three-vehicle crash on Poripori Rd injures three

Three people have been injured in a three-vehicle crash on Poripori Rd in Lower Kaimai, north of Tauranga.

The crash happened about 3pm.

A police spokesperson said one person had serious injuries, another had moderate injuries and the third minor injuries.

“Traffic management is in place.”

A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said two patients, both in moderate condition, were being transported to Tauranga Hospital.

An ambulance and operations manager attended the scene.
