The Te Puke Art Society is starting the year with an exhibition at The Incubator gallery at the Historic Village.
The society has its base at the historic old police station and courthouse building, now called The Constables Gallery, in Commerce Lane, Te Puke.
The building houses a group of
enthusiastic artists covering the whole spectrum from acrylics to clay, water colours to quilting and oils to pastels, with styles ranging from the realistic to the abstract and with an age range from the young to the young at heart.
With varying experience their aim is to enjoy using their creative talents and to keep improving their abilities with regular workshops, peer critique and art appreciation of other local artists.
Fourteen members have put together the exhibition called Te Puke Art: Inspired.
