The Bay of Plenty Steamers team has been named ahead of tomorrow's match against Southland which will be Joe Tupe's blazer match. Photo/file

The Bay of Plenty Steamers line-up has been named ahead of tomorrow night's match against Southland at Mount Maunganui's ASB Baypark Stadium.

The match will be also be Joe Tupe's blazer match (15 games).

Head coach Clayton McMillan said: "The team have recovered well following a tough match away to Tasman, and are looking forward to playing at home again in front of our supporters."

"Southland are a quality side known for their experienced forwards, but they have showcased in their first few games an ability and willingness to attack out wide, so we will need to be out our best to get a positive outcome."

Culum Retallick and Carl Axtens will co-captain tomorrow's Steamers team, kicking off at 7.35pm.

Tickets are available online for all Steamers ITM Cup home games at www.boprugby.co.nz.

Alternatively tickets can be purchased from the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union offices until 4.00pm tomorrow; thereafter tickets will be available for purchase from the gate.
