Four cars crash on Fraser St near 17th Avenue, Tauranga, no reports of injuries

A four-car crash on Tauranga’s Fraser St has partially blocked the road.

A police spokeswoman said shortly before 4.30pm, police were notified four cars had crashed near the corner of 17th Avenue.

She said one vehicle was “badly damaged, and the road was partially blocked, but traffic was still moving.

There were no reports of injuries, and no ambulance had been called.

Police were on the scene arranging for the vehicles to be removed, the spokeswoman said.

She said she expected the road to be cleared shortly.
