One person was taken into custody and the firearm was found. Photo / File

A person has been arrested after allegedly pulling out a gun in Tauranga central.

Police were notified of a person allegedly presenting a firearm on the intersection of Cameron Rd and Thirteenth Ave about 10.50pm, a police spokeswoman said.

She could not confirm whether the gun had been pulled out at a person.

One person was taken into custody and the firearm was found.
