The Electrical Contractors Association of New Zealand is increasing its services to Master Electricians in the Bay and around the country.
Electrical contractors from the Bay of Plenty region can learn more about proposed new health and safety laws and a boost in the benefits offered at a free eveningevent next Wednesday.
ECANZ will be hosting a session at ASB Baypark in Tauranga, giving members the chance to find out more information over an evening of drinks and food.
Co-hosted by Industry Training Organisation (ITO) Skills, the ECANZ event will give guests the opportunity to hear more about how changes to the Master Electricians offering will benefit their businesses.
Neville Simpson, Chief Executive of ECANZ, said in a statement the event is an excellent opportunity for members to hear the latest on what is happening in the industry.
"As well updating members on their Master Electrician benefits, we will also be introducing our new Workplace Health and Safety Initiative. This information is particularly important for business owners as they look to increase workplace safety for their employees as well as comply with proposed legislation." he said.
A representative from Skills will also be available to provide information on how the ITO is helping business owners.
The free event will be held on Wednesday 17 June from 5-6.30pm, and is available to Master Electricians members only.
