A Tauranga sports charity is offering 10 places for children under 13 to learn martial arts before the the end of the school holidays.
The Martial Arts Charitable Trust (MACT) is a local charity that promotes health and well being through martial arts programmes.
The Trust has partnered with the
Martial Arts Academy to offer ten one-day placements at the holiday programme. This programme runs from Jan 23 to Jan 27 and provides children with an introduction to different martial arts each day.
The Martial Arts children's programme has been popular programme for getting kids started in a martial art as they can learn about the difference between Taekwon-Do and Kick boxing, or boxing and jiu-jitsu.
It is also a programme that provides a kick-start to the school year by getting the kids back into learning and focus mode.
