UPDATED: 1pm: Water will be back on soon for the properties affected by this morning's emergency water shutdown.
The cause was third-party damage to a water main. Repairs are being finalised now.
The properties affected were on parts of Welcome Bay Rd, Azores Way, Pennington Pl and Esmeralda St.
EARLIER: An emergency water shutdown is in progress at Welcome Bay, resulting from an issue with a water main on the corner of Welcome Bay Road and Forrester Drive.
