Dorothy the Dinosaur is a superstar in the eyes of pre-school children all around the world - and next week she is coming to Tauranga.
Dorothy the Dinosaur's Travelling Show will arrive at Baycourt next Wednesday and is bound to captivate the little ones.
Created by The Wiggles in the early 1990s, Dorothy is a "rososaurus" who loves to eat roses and dance ballet.
Her latest great adventure takes her in search of the perfect roses to make the best rosy-posy cake!
Fairy Clare and Fairy Larissa will also perform, alongside other Wiggles favourites including Captain Feathersword, Wags the dog, Henry the Octopus and John the Cook.
Audience members can sing along with the cast to their favourite Wiggly songs, including Hot Potato, Clap Your Hands with Dorothy and Follow the Leader, plus sentimental classics such as Incy Wincy Spider and I'm a Little Teacup.
While The Wiggles themselves do not appear in this show, Dorothy is one of their most popular characters and the youngsters are sure to find this a wonderful start to the July school holidays.
