The much mentioned mummified moggy that gained national attention when found in a Mount Maunganui home has been used in a music video.
Tauranga's The Saturn Door have animated the cat using special effects.
Baz Mantis, from Electric Gypsy Studios, filmed the mummified feline only metres away from where it was first
discovered, and found the experience "not too dissimilar to filming a cooked chicken which has been left outside for a week during the last heatwave".
The cat will feature in the next The Saturn Door video "DreamLand Invasion", which will be released on YouTube within the next two weeks.
