A two-car crash in Te Puna is causing traffic delays in the area.

A police media spokeswoman said they were alerted to the crash at 4.25pm. No one appeared to be injured in the crash, she said.

The crash happened along State Highway 2 near Te Mete Rd in Te Puna.

However, she said there was a bit of traffic backed up in the area, causing delays.
