If you aren't a fan of sewing, a glue gun is your best friend. Strong enough to hold thick felt, you can whip up a handmade iPad case in around an hour.

This no-sew project looks fantastic when finished, and you could even extend to a laptop or phone case.

This would make a great gift, that no one else would have!

No-Sew iPad Case

You will need
65cm x 27.5cm Thick Felt
Pom-Pom Trim in your colour of choice
10cm matching Ribbed Ribbon
Glue Gun
Scissors
Ruler
Metal snap fastener
Embroidery thread (optional)

We found all these supplies at Spotlight.

1. Measure and cut your felt
2. Place your iPad on the felt and fold over to measure the correct depth
3. Fold your piece of ribbon in half and glue together
4. Insert into one side of the case and glue along the seam. Hold while it sets or it will come apart as the felt is very thick.
5. Measure 13.75cm (half way point) on the lid, and draw your envelope point. Cut.
6. Carefully glue your Pom-Pom trim
7. Glue your metal fastener. You may want to stitch this on too to make sure it is really secure.

TIP: Experiment with a straight edge instead of a point, or try different styles of trim. There are hundreds to choose from.
