Talented students from around Tauranga will get together to stage two concerts to help provide performing opportunities for others.
Year 12 Aquinas College student Kimberly D'Mello is organising the concerts, called One Voice. The first will be held at Aquinas College with the goal of promoting inclusiveness, while the second will be at Bethlehem College to raise money to help establish StarJam in Tauranga.
Performers from Aquinas, Bethlehem and Tauranga Girls' colleges will be performing, including Tauranga Girls' College Chorale and Bethlehem College Choir.
"I was aware that they wanted to build a branch in Tauranga and wanted to support because I want to support inclusiveness and it's a great cause to get behind," says Kimberley. "The students at Aquinas are passionate about this."
Sponsorship from Denta Care, Bay Accounting, Smile Art Orthodontists, Smart Sparx Electrical Ltd and Exceed Tauranga will boost the amount of money raised.
