Tauranga Hospital celebrated its centenary along with its newest delivery yesterday.
A baby boy was born to Madeline Parker and Manuell Korzelius, but they hadn't decided on a name for him yesterday afternoon.
The centenary baby was born at 4.50am yesterday after a natural birth.
He joins brothers Riley, 10, Connor, 8, and Oliver, 6. He weighed 3.6kg and was 56cm long at birth.
Ms Parker said she was born in the old maternity unit in the hospital at Tauranga Hospital along with two of her children.
