The Tauranga Art Gallery exhibition featuring the works of Banksy has attracted nearly 33,000 visitors since opening in March.
Paradox Inside, part of the Paradox Tauranga Street Art Festival, showed 22 works by Banksy's and six huge installations created by renowned street artists.
Gallery marketing and media coordinator Martine Rollssaid people were travelling from Auckland and the Waikato to see the exhibition.
"There is a real ongoing buzz in the gallery which we hope to see continue as our 10th birthday celebrations roll out over the year."
Paradox could be seen in Tauranga until June 15, after which the gallery's 10th anniversary programme continued with more exhibitions.
These included a atrium show by Auckland-based artist Sara Hughes, a traditional Korean drawing project by Jae Kang, local artist Todd Couper's first survey exhibition and Papamoa-artist Kereama Taepa has been commissioned to create a distinctive graphic work inside the lift.
