The blog, titled "Purple In Style", gives an insight into the mind of a typical teenager, full of hopes and dreams, but also dealing with depression and body-image issues.
A negative comment on her previous post had "hit her right on the heart", she wrote.
"The reason that this comment hit so hard is that I have not always looked really good. Sometimes because of a depression that comes and goes when it pleases, or it may be because I have problem with friends/school."
Svebakk-Bohn had spent most of her life in Norway but referred to New Zealand as her homeland.
She told how she had "worked like hell" on a class presentation about the country.
Days earlier, she told of her excitement at going to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.
"I am looking forward, not only because of the film, but because it is the first time mom and I are doing something together, without a single family member.
"There are several times where we should have done something, but then it will be me and my dad instead. So excited."
Svebakk-Bohn wrote of her joy at receiving a watch, cash and other gifts for her 14th birthday on July 17.
