Sunflowers, butterflies, moths and starry night skies are on display at Cooks Gallery in Whanganui these school holidays.
The exhibition curators may be considerably younger and shorter than the Wanganui Arts Society members who usually frequent the gallery but they know their art.
Emily Paterson, 8, and her sister Hazel, 6, are welcoming visitors to view the children's Art House exhibition.
The girls have been working with their after-school tutor Rae Hendry and other students to produce works based on Vincent Van Gogh's paintings Sunflowers and The Starry Night.
"I really enjoyed working on the 'starry night' picture," said Emily.
