Batman has a new mode of transport and he got it free of charge at Whanganui's second Really Really Free market at the Koha Shed in Whanganui East. Connor Haddon-Moana, 2, scored his blow-up aircraft and had a free face-paint.
The first market where Whanganui people are able to take items to give away as well as collect free items to take home was held at Pakaitore in December.
Yesterday's market, held at the Koha Shed, attracted more donors and collectors and some people were happy to find school uniform items for their children starting high school or intermediate this year.
Castlecliff Market organiser Clive Ward is now offering free limited sites for Whanganui people to bring, swap and take away items with the proviso that everything must be removed from the venue by 5pm.
"Yay - our dream of free markets popping up all around our beautiful city is beginning to manifest," wrote Sandy Roach on the group Facebook page.
