Topshop's collaboration with Adidas Originals has arrived, reinforcing the street's ever-growing influence on fashion. The collection sees Topshop's creative director Kate Phelan reimagine Adidas classics, with the iconic three stripes adorning jumpsuits, photo prints inspired by the streets of London on running shorts and track pants, and classic trainers given a tech-meets-fashion makeover.
"Everything is being influenced by sportswear," says Phelan. "We wanted to bring some femininity to the range and make the collection fit with all your fashion staples." The collection is available online.
Other new collaborations reflect fashion's enduring obsession with street style: sneakers from designer Raf Simons' collaboration with Adidas recently arrived at Zambesi's Britomart store, while the anticipated sneaker created by Be Positive for Karen Walker ($195) arrives in store today.
