Erakovic has beaten Russian Anastasiya Komardina 6-3, 6-1.
The 28-year-old is currently ranked 188 in the world after battling injury throughout the past 12 months.
She plays Kristina Kucova from Slovakia ranked 136th for a place in the main draw.

However they are drawn to play top seeds Florin Mergea and Horia Tecau in the first round.
Rubin Statham plays his final qualifying match today at the US$50.000 Savannah Challenger in Georgia, United States. After winning his first round match in straight sets he now faces the third seed from Argentina for a main draw place.
