The Best Service Business Non Retail category is always a hotly contested award at the Romeo Awards, and this year was no different, with a wide range of businesses represented in the category.

"With so many great nominees, it is incredible to be named winner," said Brian Darth as he and his team received the award from Dan Harris, owner operator of Stratford New World, who sponsored the category.

"It helps the boss at Brian Darth Funeral Services is a good man," Brian added, to laughter from the audience.

Brian and his team focus on providing good service.

"We work with families and individuals who are going through a tough time.

"It is important we don't add to their stress, but rather work to take it away and to help guide them through the process."

Pamela Darth, who also took home the runner up award in Best Service Person Female on the night, says they were all thrilled to have two awards.

"It is brilliant to be recognised for the work. Thanks to whoever nominated us."
