"Everyone at the Masters netball events always has a fantastic time, especially those who get dressed up for the event," says Taranaki Masters Games netball organiser Darleena Christie.
Darleena says the netball events are often the most colourful of the Taranaki Masters Games.
"Many of the teams in the social grades create eye-catching uniforms for the competition, just for a bit of fun."
Darleena adds that those who dress up really add to the atmosphere of the competition, "everyone has a laugh and a good time, last year we even had a team warming up to the 'Gangnam-style' song".
The netball events, which are held at the Stratford courts on Portia Street, are well supported by competitors and supporters.
