England narrowly avoided a record-low total in their first innings of the day-night test at Eden Park on Thursday. The visitors were rolled over for 58 in 20.4 overs - and a touch over 90 minutes.
Here's how it happened:
2.18pm: England 6-1: Trent Boult gets Alastair Cook for the sixth time in his career. He draws Cook into neither-here-nor-there defence on the crease and he pushes the bat out. Ball flies to Tom Latham at second slip. Cook exits for five off 21 balls.
2.25pm: England 6-2: Joe Root goes for a duck from six balls. Boult brings the ball back slightly to the right-hander, and it goes through the gate.
2.33pm: England 16-3: Boult draws Dawid Malan into another tentative stroke on the crease. He edges into the gloves of a diving BJ Watling. Boult has 3-7 from 4.1 overs. The New Zealanders are elated.
2.40pm: England 18-4: Mark Stoneman goes. Prods at Tim Southee. Edge flies to Watling. Exits for 11 off 20. England in a shambolic state.
2.44pm: England 18-5: Boult goes straight through Ben Stokes, who makes a duck from eight balls. Bowled. This is extraordinary.
2.48pm: England 18-6: Jonny Bairstow chips back to Southee for a caught and bowled. Faced four balls. The carnage continues.
2.57pm: England 23-7: Chris Woakes plays all around a Boult in-swinger. Gone for five off nine balls. Boult has his sixth five-wicket bag in tests.
3.03pm: England 23-8: Southee full-toss bowls Moeen Ali. You couldn't make this up.
3.11pm: England 27-9: Captain Kane Williamson takes one of the catches of his generation at gully off Southee. A one-hander that will never be forgotten for anyone who witnessed it. Stuart Broad goes for a duck.
3.34pm: England 58 all out: England dismissed for 58 at Eden Park as Jimmy Anderson lobs a ball to point off Boult. Boult finishes with his best test figures of 6-32 from 10.4 overs.
