Defender Tom Doyle will miss the All Whites' World Cup qualifiers against New Caledonia after suffering a hamstring injury.
The 24-year-old Wellington Phoenix defender, ruled out of the recent US tour with a similar injury, will be replaced by Luke Adams in the 23-man squad.
The All Whites face New Caledonia on November 12 at QBE Stadium in Albany and then again three days later in Kone, New Caledonia.
All Whites coach Anthony Hudson said Adams, who scored his first international goal in New Zealand's 1-0 Oceania Nations Cup win over Solomon Islands, would be an able replacement.
"It's a real shame, but it happens as we've seen yesterday with Winston Reid, who has the same injury.
