Kiwi amateur Lydia Ko remains well off the pace after the third round of the Kraft Nabisco Championship in California.

She has carded a third round one under 71 to leave her one over for the tournament in a tie for 37th.

The 15-year-old is nine shots off the lead.

Ko mixed three birdies with two bogeys, with her second blemish on the 17th halting further progress up the leaderboard.

Meanwhile, Danny Lee is tied for third at the web.com tour's latest event in Brazil.

He is one under for his third round through 16 holes, 13 under for the tournament and three shots off the lead.
