An uncomplicated approach taken by the country's leading trainers Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman with Gesemi is paying regular winning dividends.
The Cambridge mare's dominant victory in yesterday's Active Electrical Suppliers Cornwall Handicap at Ellerslie was her third in a row and the fourth of her current preparation.
"When mares are in form like her you've just got to keep running them," Forsman said
Gesemi had romped home by five and a half lengths in a Rating 85 event on the same course seven days ago and she was again a commanding winner in her open class debut.
"She had to get more points on board to qualify her for better races later on," Forsman said.
