One child has been injured after a collision between a car and school bus in Queenstown this afternoon.
A police spokesperson said they were called to the crash on Frankton Rd between Sugar lane and Yewlett Crescent at 3.49pm.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and were advisedto postpone travel if possible, police said.

A St John spokesperson said two patients had been transported to Lakes District Hospital. One patient was a 8-year-old girl with minor injuries, and another patient sustained serious injuries.
Besides the two injured patients, all other remaining occupants of the bus have been transferred to another bus and are continuing to their destination, a police spokesperson said.
A person in the other vehicle is injured, but there are no details on the severity.
There is currently a backlog of traffic in the area and motorists are advised to expect delays.
NZTA has warned motorists of delays on Frankton Rd near the intersection with Marina Drive.
