Firefighters cutting free person trapped in vehicle in West Auckland accident

A person is being cut from a car after a crash in West Auckland this morning.

Fire Service northern communications operations manager Eric Smith said a rescue tender was at the Reynella Drive accident freeing a person from their wrecked vehicle.

Police and ambulance were also at the Massey accident which happened just after 11.20am.

Smith said there were few details available about the crash at this stage.
