Around 700 Auckland properties are without power after several powerlines came down this morning.
Several powerlines are down in the Auckland suburb of New Lynn.
Fire got the call at 5.45am to the event on Nikau Street. A fire spokesman doesn't know why they are down or how long they have been down for.
The Fire Service says the road is blocked.
