A man has a traumatic brain injury after the digger he was working in rolled over and fell down a hill in a remote location in the central North Island.
The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter attended the accident in Ongarue Forest near Taumarunui yesterday.
The injured man had to be carried about 250m down a steep hill before being taken by helicopter to Waikato Hospital.
