It wasn't the $500 reward but the Napier owners' keen eyes which saw a stolen caravan returned to its rightful home.

The passionate knitters who decorated Greerton streets last year are back with more yarn art to transform the main street.

Adults and children alike donned their skates and took to the ice, despite the rain, to get a sneak preview of the Harcourts ice skating rink in Rotorua.

A Northlander wants the High Court to quash his conviction and fine for failing to fill in a Census form.

And, having a beekeeping dad has been life threatening for Stuart Lindsay in Wanganui - he's been hospitalised twice for anaphylactic shock caused by exposure to bee venom.

Finally, a Wairarapa plumber has been fined $500 for breaching drainage and plumbing regulations.
