Eastbound lanes on Auckland's Northwestern Motorway (SH16) will be closed each night from tonight until Friday, between the Great North Rd interchange and the Central Motorway Junction.
Closures will be from 10pm to 5am the following morning.
The NZ Transport Agency said the night closures would enable work on the SH16 St Lukes to Great North Rd Upgrade Project.
All eastbound traffic will be diverted off the motorway at Great North Rd. Diversions will be signposted along Great North Rd and other local roads.
Drivers are advised to allow plenty of time to get to their destination and use alternate routes from 10pm for the next three nights.
