Police in New Zealand are being praised for helping bring a child sex offender in Ireland to justice.
The 49-year-old man has been jailed for 12 years for offering to show live footage on the internet of himself having sex with a teenage boy.
ECPAT Child Alert director, Alan Bell, said UK police were able to track the images.
"The joint cooperation between New Zealand, the UK and Ireland brought about a conviction which wouldn't have happened otherwise probably."
Bell says police here were able to tip off officers in Ireland after gaining access to a forum where people were exchanging child pornography.
