The woman accused of fatally stabbing a Hutt Valley man has made a brief appearance in court today.
Jessica Lee Keefe, 29, has been charged with murdering 30-year-old Sean Verma who was allegedly stabbed in his chest about 10.30pm on Tuesday at his Petone flat.
Keefe briefly appeared in Lower Hutt District Court this morning dressed in a blue boiler suit, and wiped tears from her face throughout her appearance.
She was remanded in custody for a bail application hearing tomorrow.
