Groundsman at Rangitoto College taken by police

A groundsman at Auckland's Rangitoto College has been carted off by police this morning.

Principal David Hodge says police arrived at the school to speak to the young man who has been working as part of the maintenance team for about a year.

He has dashed rumours marijuana was being sold to students on school grounds.

David Hodge says that is not true and is disappointed someone has said that.

He says the school will help the police with their inquiries.
