Men found guilty of transvestite's manslaughter

A jury has found two men guilty of manslaughter over the death of Upper Hutt transvestite Richard Milton Jones, 64, in his small Upper Hutt flat in April 2009.

Jurors were into their third day of deliberations in the trial of Philip Christopher Sanders, 42, and David Shaun Galloway, 20, in the High Court at Wellington today. The verdict delivered this afternoon was a majority, with 11 of the 12 jurors finding them guilty.
