Police name Christchurch crash victim

Police have named the 18 year-old man who died in a car crash on Cashmere Rd in Christchurch early on Sunday morning.

He was Timothy William Wortelboer, 18, of Christchurch.

The crash happened at about 2.30am after the car Mr Wortelboer was in failed to take a bend.

Four others in the car were taken to Christchurch Hospital.
