Police are hunting for two men who robbed a Dannevirke service station at gunpoint Thursday night.
The armed robbery occurred at Caltex Westlow in Dannevirke at about 11.15pm and police say two men, armed with a pistol, demanded cash and cigarettes, while waving a pistol at a service station member as they were locking up.
The offenders took cash and cigarettes before wrenching open the glass doors and fleeing. The attendant was unharmed.
Both men are described as about 18 and were wearing hoodies.
One is described as being of slim build and the other is taller and of medium-chubby build.
