Sport Hawke's Bay has announced a new "major" partnership with SBS Bank which it says will help extend its reach into the community as it aims to roll out a get active campaign later in the year.
Sport Hawke's Bay chief executive Mark Aspden said the regional sports trust had some exciting initiatives planned and SBS Bank's financial support provides momentum to make Hawke's Bay one of the most active regions in New Zealand.
"It is great to have an organisation partner Sport Hawke's Bay with such a strong affinity to the Hawke's Bay region. To see a nationwide organisation such as SBS keen to get in behind what we stand for and give back to the community is fantastic."
"We're driven to ensure Hawke's Bay is New Zealand's most active and successful region for sport and recreation," Mr Aspden said.
SBS Bank and HBS Bank branches have recently unified under the SBS Bank brand, after merging the two entities in 2010. The bank is New Zealand owned.
