Vintage is taking permanent residence in Hamilton's CBD, as Kelli Pike prepares to open her new store Home.
Organiser of Market Place, a market celebrating vintage and retro products, Kelli has taken the leap to open a permanent store.
The store is located on Alexandra St, and has elements of Market Place and Kelli's online store Teacup and Saucer.
"The people who come into the shop, will most likely be different to market goers, not everyone goes to a market. I'm hoping to catch that different customer base with the shop as well as letting people have somewhere to go during the week."
The store also stocks other people's wares, including many stallholders from Market Place and Kelli's aim is to see other people succeed also. Market Place originally struggled to find its place in the city. It began at St Francis Church in Hillcrest, before moving to Garden Place, but the bad timing of poor weather worked against it. It then moved to the Celebrating Age Centre on the first Saturday of every month.
