Kathryn Wilson's new season collection picks up on international trends such as the skinny heel and ankle boot while still making the collection super wearable with lots of trainer and loafer options.
With fashion having a 'red' moment, Kathryn has picked up on this trend, with the signature Amelia heel and the Julia ankle boot in red nubuck.
When drawing up the collection, Kathryn and Julia Ford, head of design and sales, were inspired by silhouettes and colours they were coveting for our their own wardrobes.
A self-confessed magpie, Kathryn said, "I'm always thinking about ways that we can incorporate metallic hardware and accessories into each season. Studs are definitely trending this season and I love the way they can elevate a casual style to something really special."
Kathryn's favourites for the season are the Julia and Lizzie boot and the Kiekie heel.
"The mid-height heel is great for day-wear which can take you through to evening ... a classic silhouette with Red Nubuck as the highlight color of the season…rich and luxe, a playful accessory to brighten up a winter wardrobe.
The metal hardware is a nod to international trends showing studs and rivets on boots, heels and trainers.
During the day and weekends the Hallie trainers are what I will be living in this winter. I am loving the pearl stud accessories and hardware on a classic with croc textured calf as a feature throughout the more casual styles," Kathryn says.
Julia can't wait for the cooler weather to get a pair of the Iris boot in bronze. "I love the idea of wearing a metallic boot this winter as an alternative to black, it makes every outfit that much more exciting! I also love the Rhianna Slip-on ... The rose embroidered detail and the ease of a slip-on trainer make it the perfect weekend go-to, plus it's named after one of our favourite ladies from the Sisters & Co team."
