Zane Lowe has signed up rap superstar Eminem to appear as the first musical guest on his new radio show Beats 1.
Lowe took to Twitter to share an image of him and Eminem chatting in the studio together before the launch of Beats 1 next week.
The Kiwi DJ left his high profile role at Radio 1 in London to take up the position at Apple Music's new 24-hour radio station.
The station's predicted reach - to everyone who owns an Apple device - makes him one of the world's most influential DJs.
The New York Times reports Dr Dre, Josh Homme, Drake, Elton John and Pharrell will host their own shows as part of Beats 1's schedule.
Apple Music launches on June 30 and is free for the first three months. Beats 1 is free but will contain ads, and is available to anyone with an Apple device.
